Welcome to Spring 2012!
Don't forget, the first blog post is on an article of your choice. Provide both the link and a paragraph or two of your opinion. I look forward to seeing what all of you have to say.

Pick your poison
This week, we will continue to evaluate the validity of sources. Choose one of the articles from the attached link and decide of you buy it: http://www.newyorker.com/online/blogs/newsdesk/2011/05/to-do-list-new-leaders-for-al-qaeda-the-flintstones.html.
I particularly like the idea of the pet service post rapture (which, according to the article, is this Saturday).

Brith control in middle school sample topic
Working thesis: Birth control in middle school is unnecessary and contributing to the downfall of society through reinforcing weak moral expectations in modern youths.
Article 1:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21358971/ns/health-kids_and_parenting/t/maine-middle-school-offer-birth-control/
This link is relevant to my paper because it describes the controversy happening in Maine over distributing the pill to children. This link is credible because it is from GMA. However, this is not the best source for my paper because it is dated. I should find something from 2009 or later.
